I don’t know about you, but my mornings are the most important part of my day. They are my time to set an intention, surrender to the Universe, and welcome in the abundance that awaits me. Lately, however, I have been waking up feeling fear, pain, angst, worry, sadness, and anger. I am aware that these feelings are related to emotional wounds that I am in the process of healing, but when they cloud my mind first thing in the morning, it can be really difficult to set a productive regimen and trajectory for the day.
I have always been one who enjoys waking up early and hitting the day with some gusto, so meditation usually isn’t the first thing on my list, however, when I came across this package of audio recordings, I couldn’t help but honor my curiosity just a little bit. What I find to be so great about this particular collection, is that they don’t exceed 15 minutes, and on average, they are typically only 5 minutes in length!
When most people think of squeezing meditation in the day, we typically think, “I don’t have time for this! I have stuff to do!” but with these meditations, all you need is 5 minutes to grant yourself the courtesy of attention and set intentions for a beautiful day. That is really all it takes.
As I have said, meditation is typically not the first thing I think to do in the mornings, but why not consider it? One thing that I always like to remind myself of is to “consider all things for the sake of consideration, because why not?” So, if you are looking to actively create change in your lifestyle or habits and take your mornings seriously like I do, I highly recommend that you give some of these morning meditations a try, because why not?
