10 Easy Questions That Helped Me Lose Weight
I’ll admit it: I was tubby. I always felt tired, I was always grumpy, fitting into my favorite dress became a Cirque du Soleil performance. I didn’t understand why, though. I was always dieting, I exercised (more or less), I did everything I thought I was supposed to. I was at the end of the rope when I found this course. Thank God for Jules Allen-Rowland! She didn’t offer magic solutions, but she did help me wrap my mind around the science behind losing weight. That understanding gave me the ability to approach my weight loss with the full knowledge of why I was doing what I was doing, and you know what they say — knowledge is power.
This is the kind of quality information you would get from a college course, but who has time? Dr. Allen-Rowland makes it easy for the average person to understand by breaking it down into 10 simple questions with 10 not-so-simple answers that she makes easy to grasp. She talks you through all the information clearly and slowly. I never knew so many different things went into why I had weight problems! I thought that I just ate too much. She presents it in a way that never feels overwhelming, and boy am I grateful for that.
There are a lot of courses that claim to tell you how to lose weight, but a lot less that tell you why you lose weight. I’m not going to say it hasn’t been a struggle, but arming myself with the knowledge of why what I’m doing is bad or good and how it affects my body really helps me make more informed decisions about my lifestyle. The struggle may be real, but so is the science.
