Don’t procrastinate — Meditate!
I just recently got into the world of being self-employed as a freelance writer. As such, I am definitely learning that it takes a lot of discipline, motivation, focus, concentration, and ambition to succeed in this line of work and live comfortably, however, procrastination and staying focused are just two of the many things that I struggle with in my line of work.
Procrastination has always been a bad habit of mine. I always seem to convince myself that there are better ways for me to spend my time at the moment instead of just getting things done and continuing to move forward, yet, all this does it put me further behind and make me more stressed in the end. So, when I saw that they had a collection of meditations centered around improving your focus and concentration, you can probably understand why I was so thrilled to give it a shot.
Now, if you haven’t figured this out already, I am what we like to refer to in the medical field, a nerd. I love learning, especially when it comes to spiritual jams such as meditation, manifestation, self-actualization, and emotional healing, so you can imagine how my nerdy excitement exploded when I saw this. This collection of meditations has everything in it from mindfulness and productivity to conquering procrastination and improving focus, which if you are self-employed or going to school is very important for what you are doing.
These meditations are fairly longer than some others that you will discover throughout this app, but they are well worth the 10-20 minutes, and they will leave you feeling relaxed, full of deep cosmic energy, and clarity of mind to tackle whatever tasks you need to complete. So, if you are feeling depressed, fatigued, or scatterbrained, I definitely would suggest that you try out these meditations once or twice and see what they do for you. After doing just one meditation when I was feeling foggy, I was ready to get back to writing, nurture my relationships with clients without fear, and continue checking off items on my to-do list. I hope these help you all as much as they have helped me!
