Ready for the most amazing, wild, lucid and fantastic dreams?
I had never heard of “lucid dreams,” but decided to give this course a try. I’m all for anything that can help me become a better person.
The first thing we’re told is to determine why we want to become more lucid. Is it curiosity? Is it to reach a certain goal in life?
The next step is to be “aware” and levels of awareness. An example of this is taking in an understanding the world around you. By training ourselves to be more aware of things around us like the wind, birds flying and other things, this can help a person have more lucid dreams.
Another great point Na’Shawn points out is the subconscious mind can play out various scenarios in our minds while we’re sleep. The key is to pay attention to our subconscious mind and it can help guide us when we’re awake. Na’Shawn gives great tips on how to make this happen by using yoga, meditation or prayer.
My favorite part of the course is learning how to interpret my own dreams. After listening to the entire course, I now realize my dreams aren’t as random as I originally thought. It seems as though my dreams are a reflection of either my conscious thoughts or subconscious thoughts.
Sleep releases our minds from boundaries and helps to expand our minds. By knowing this, it helps me look deep in myself and determine how to interpret my own dreams. The key for me is to become more aware and increase my attention to detail. If I can do that, I can have more lucid dreams, and increase my understanding of them as they become more clear.
I never really gave my dreams much thought. I always thought they were random thoughts or images, but now I see they are much, much more. As I think back on recurring dreams I had when I was a teenager, I think there was much more to them and I need to revisit them. By unlocking the mystery of my dreams, I can learn that much more about myself. I look forward to having lucid dreams now, and will work on making that happen.
