These meditations reinvigorated my radiant glow
If you ask most people, they will tell you they are confident in who they are and that they have a positive self-image, but more often than not, I would be willing to say that most people haven’t really taken the time to examine this part of themselves and heal the underlying wounds that propagate the need for defense mechanisms and false senses of confidence. I know for me, as a skinny guy, I have always struggled with feeling attractive to women, especially when all the advertising centered around what the ideal man is the stereotypical ripped, macho manly man.
I used to turn to sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll to feel confident (yes I am a musician), but all it did was numb my feelings of inadequacy, which only made them fester more and grow into big ol’ nasty entities that stole my self-love and self-acceptance away.
Now, I have made a more conscious effort in my life to use meditation instead of the drugs and alcohol that I used to turn to.
Granted, I don’t do it as much as I probably should, but I am practicing and working at it. With that being said, I am extremely grateful for the advances in technology that have allowed for such knowledge and practice to be available from my own phone!
What’s more, is that these meditations are guided! I used to lead a meditation group where I was the guide who facilitated the meditative space, but when I wasn’t guiding others, I had to guide myself, which can prove to be an arduous task.
So, if you are struggling to feel confident in yourself I recommend that you give this collection a shot. The worst thing that can happen is that you don’t see results immediately, but I can guarantee you, if you work at it and continue your practice, you will notice a great improvement in your self-image, self-esteem, and self-confidence. Don’t hesitate and start loving yourself already!
