A compilation of life tips for everyday guidance

I so appreciate the variety in Stephanie Bartanic’s tips and the optimistic way she approaches all kinds of topics. She covers things such as the topic of arguments, self-sabotage, the damage of negative environments, what to do when you fail, the importance of a daily routine, and more. So often we don’t realize that we can be in control of our lives and what we expose ourselves to. We can make choices and we can work on our responses in all kinds of situations. It definitely takes work and time (be patient and kind to yourself) but when you can slowly nurture this self-development within yourself, you can change your world from the inside out.

She talks from her own experience as a Hungarian immigrant living in Mexico with a partner who lives in the US, but she also draws from legitimate sources for self-improvement. In one of her tracks about accomplishing your dreams, Stephanie shares some really timeless wisdom that I believe we all need to keep reminding ourselves of: age is irrelevant. We get so attached to a script and timeline for how we want our lives to go. Because we feel we should have a home by this age, be married by this age, retire by this age, etc, we end up not only limiting ourselves but this seeds the kinds of beliefs that will stop us from even taking the first steps to our dreams because we think “I’m too young” or “I’m too old” or whatever other self-limiting beliefs we come up with in order to protect ourselves from the pain of failure.

But failure is part of the process. There are so many stories we can look to about people who are wildly successful now, who faced failure in their early years, who thought their lives were over, or who kept trying to make their dreams come true even when they became old men and women. Think of the world we would have today if Alan Rickman had given up because he thought he was too old. Or if Dwayne Johnson had given up when he was let go from his sports team.

Find your passion and let it fuel you each day.
