A Lovely Reminder to Let Go of the Pain and Welcome in the Magic

This audio course by The Anxiety Guy has provided me with ample insight to better navigate through the overwhelming existential angst that thwarts my inner peace at times.

I remember when I was living in Peru and I became so identified with my negative thoughts and emotions that it seemed like there was no way out. This wasn’t the first time I had felt these feelings or thought these thoughts, however, it was one of the darkest times where it became so cloudy that I couldn’t see the sun shining on the other side. I chose to believe that these projections of mine were marks of my identity — descriptors that were more real than my experience of life itself.

In listening to The Anxiety Guy, I was reminded of the absurdity that lies within the realm of such angst and wallowing despair. I was reminded that life doesn’t happen to me, but that I am the creator of my life, and I have the choice to create the person I desire to be and the life that I desire to live.

With a wonderful balance of meditations, positive affirmations, and exercises to implement in one’s daily practices, this course has given me countless tools to overcome the pesky anxiety that arises throughout my everyday life. While I already practice stream of consciousness writing on my own accord, The Anxiety Guy assisted me in learning new practices that can assist me in letting go of the negative thought gremlins that bog me down and shroud my day in fallacious senses of hopelessness and powerlessness.

The “I am a Warrior” affirmation is one that I most certainly made an impression on me, as it is a reminder that I am not a victim of any circumstance. This, along with the guided meditations provided, has allowed me to find inner peace and relaxation that I can carry with me throughout my days and nights. Granted, inner tranquility comes and goes, but reminders such as this audio course are wonderful tools that make it far more simple to revisit such holistic states.

For anyone that is experiencing debilitating angst and lack of willingness to be courageous in their lives, this course will present tools of greater awareness and wild encouragement to take charge of one’s life and step into a space of imagination, love, and delight.
