Bogdan Vaida’s Course on Doubling Your Productivity is Full of Great Techniques!
This course is about time management and how you can get the most out of your time, even when you think you don’t have any time at all. The first thing Bogdan asks you to do is to think about your day and how you actually spend your time. I know for a fact that even though I feel like I don’t have any time for myself, I actually do find the time to open up apps here and there and I end up on social media sites and reading articles, as well. I sometimes just sit there and stare blankly at the wall while the dishes are so obviously in need of washing. I didn’t realize it until Bogdan brought it up, but boy, do I like to waste time!
Bogdan discusses several techniques to manage your time better. He suggests transforming wasted time into saved time by being productive when you are waiting in line, waiting in traffic, or waiting for the doctor. He mentions audiobooks which was like a much needed revelation to me because I love reading and I absolutely hate waiting. I mean, really, why hadn’t I thought of this before? Thank you, Bogdan!
Like that time-saving technique, there are many others. Some a little more extreme than others and since there are so many, you can’t just try them all at once. You need time to process how they work and how to get them to work for you. Not all of the techniques will apply to everyone and Bogdan acknowledges this but it’s definitely worth a shot. A lot of it is like tricking your brain to work for you by understanding how your brain works and I found that pretty interesting.
The course has a lot of information, like TOO much information, at times. I’m not kidding. Information overload! But all of it is meaningful so don’t let that keep you from giving it a chance. I suggest listening to the course twice and making sure you take notes on what the techniques require. I personally can’t wait to try it out!
