Learning to accept, allow, and trust

These guided meditations came to me at just the right time. It seems like a lot of us are going through intense energetic transitions right now. Some people are having it easier than others, but for myself and many in my circle, it’s been rough. We’re all experiencing some kind of huge loss, some difficult challenge to let something go. For some, it’s a relationship or a job, for some a home, a loved one, a pet, a way of life or who we once were. Grief can apply to all kinds of situations and even for those who are experiencing a positive transition, there is sadness in saying goodbye.

JJ Van Zon’s guided meditations are full of meaningful affirmations that all work together beautifully to help get us through something like this, but on even on they’re own they are incredibly powerful and healing. He covers acceptance, allowing miracles to happen, and gratitude — A really important mental, emotional, and spiritual shift that can help us through a transitional period that is challenging every aspect of our lives and sense of self. He also gets into not only how to be a better listener and act out of kindness and compassion, but how to trust ourselves. That’s been a big one for me. Even when given opportunities, I tend to not believe in or trust myself, my vision, and my capabilities, so I freak out and unintentionally sabotage my own efforts. Even as hard as I work at my spiritual practice, this dense world is so convincing and can be terrifying for those of us who have been harmed by it.

What I like is that these meditations get right into it and are just the right length for me to pick one in the morning and one in the evening. They’re even great for picking me ups on my breaks especially if I’m dealing with some persistent depression that day.
