Never let the fear of rejection hold you back again

I’ve never been particularly good with women. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that I’ve never had any idea what I was doing when talking to a woman in my life. I guess when someone says that they’re not particularly good with women, it’s obvious that they’re awkward around them. The thing is, I usually feel perfectly able to speak and to control my muscles. When confronted with an attractive woman, though, everything just short circuits.

In a vain effort to get over my insecurity, I’ve begun looking to men who obviously have more charisma and charm with women than I do for advice. At first, I asked friends that always seemed to be hooking up what to do, but the things they told me seemed so alien. It was like they’d never actually met a woman; they just knew how to trick one every now and then. I wasn’t looking for that. I need to be genuine and to genuinely liked for being me.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not out there falling in love with every woman I meet. But, I’m not just looking for hookups. I’m all about healthy relationships, regardless of how long they last. If I see someone a year after we’ve shared time, I don’t want to be searching for a place to hide.

That being the case, you might wonder how a guy like David de las Morenas might have anything to say to someone like me. True, he comes across as a bro at first, but you shouldn’t judge the book by the cover. Morenas has real insights into being successful with women. From getting over a breakup to conquering the fear of rejection, Morenas deals with the big issues that block us from getting what we want.

The last one, the fear of rejection, was the most helpful to me. He hits on the key reasons that I’ve always feared being rejected, and explains how understanding that fear removes its power over you. Then, you simply share your insecurity over that fear with a friend to further remove that power. Finally, you just go for it. “Confront the fear,” he says. It might sound simple, but if you go about it the way Morenas suggests – and treat every issue he confronts the same way – you’ll see how empowering his methods really are.
