Teaching kids about money is tough, but this course makes it easier!
Having two kids myself, I really do struggle to teach my kids how to be more financially responsible. Instilling a sense of money and value into our children is important, right? We all get it. However, most of the young parents, including me, do not have the right tools or the skills to teach our children to be smart money-wise. I knew it was tough to teach my kids about money, but at the same time, I realized it was necessary.
Given my job and side projects, I really needed a kids’ money course that was succinct and that was not so time- consuming. Once I came across the Mindmekka audio course online, I knew I had to give it a try.
The course contains six parts. Each part is dedicated to a particular aspect of teaching our kids how to be more responsible money-wise. The first explores the approaches we, as parents, should use to talk to our kids about money related matters. Given the difference in the age of my kids, I really liked the fact that this part of the course also sets out how my methods of teaching should be tailor made to my kids’ specific needs and preferences. After that, the course talks about allowances: how much to give our kids. Additionally, the course also gives great advice on how to police how our kids spend the allowances more wisely. I loved the part where the course gives a practical guide to parents on how to teach their kids to manage their budgets effectively and spend smartly. What I think is great about the course is that it also offered me useful pointers on how to teach my kids to save money and invest properly. The last part delves into the various money-related problems and how to solve these problems, while also imparting financial knowledge to our kids.
Overall, I can say with no doubt that I have benefited from the course, and I am happy that I was able to implement these tips and techniques in my life and see the results. The course, itself, is practical and on target and is delivered in a way that does not require too much or effort to keep up with. And I believe the course would make an indispensable guide for any parents out there looking to teach their kids to be financially wise.
