This helped me to develop a detailed strategy to transmute my bad habits into healthy ones
Listening to this package by MindMekka helped me greatly to better understand my habits with increased awareness, and ultimately change them through said awareness. In being human, we all have bad habits. Obviously, I can only speak for myself, but I know that I am not alone in this. As a writer, it can be difficult at times to muster the motivation to get my work done in a timely manner and keep my focus on the bigger picture, however, these are merely habits, and can be changed at any time if I so choose.
Some of the bad habits that I notice are procrastination, negative thinking, beating myself up, comparing myself to others, micromanaging my life, and holding on to past mistakes. None of these habits propagate positive behaviors and only propel me into further states of bad habits. In becoming aware of these habits, I can subsequently change them into healthy ones that increase my quality of life and my fulfillment in my job.
Life is a constant opportunity to grow and evolve, and while this much is most certainly true in terms of occurrences and circumstances, this much is also true for our dynamic nature as human beings. As constantly evolving beings, we are never truly the same. Every day we are different — we are new. So, in being aware of this, we can change our habits and evolve ourselves into our best version(s) of ourselves. Granted, it isn’t easy by any means, but in the end, it is ultimately worth it to be our very best.
